This is what the house looked like after it was moved here in 05/28/09. Removal of the old paint in preparation for new paint began on the other side
08/2/09 The Museum, with garage.
08/22/09 The back porch walls are being removed.
08/22/09 The porch floor is being removed.
09/05/09 Paint removal is moving around to the south side.
09/05/09 Scaffolding makes things easier.
09/05/09 Museum to the left, barns to the right in the back.
09/05/09 Work is slow, since it is all by volunteers. To the right is the lane to the barns.

09/26/09 Work was done on the inside and outside of the house, and the Mare Barn loft was cleaned out.
09/26/09 The back porch area is being transformed into 2 rest rooms.
09/26/09 Paint removal continues.
09/26/09 The front porch is the only way to get inside now.

09/26/09 All of the old house wiring and duct work must be removed.
09/26/09 A volunteer brought food - it's time for a break.
10/18/09 Now that the old paint has been removed, it is time for the north side to get a primer coat.
10/18/09 The south side also needs more primer.
10/18/09 Since the last workday, the rest rooms have been enclosed.
11/28/09 The prime coat has been applied. Painting will resume in the spring.
11/28/09 All but the gables have been primed.
11/28/09 The front porch will be updated, including a ramp.
11/28/09 Work ceased for 2009 as winter arrived.
