Oct 2008.   On the left, the Chicken Coop and Shed, looking north.

Oct 2008.   The Chicken Coop was probably built in the 1930's, and needs work.

Oct 2008.   The Shed is still useful, with its metal roof.

February 2009.   Everything looks bleaker in the winter.

Sept 2009.   The Chicken Coop has been painted, and the Shed cleaned up.

Sept 2009.   Interior of the Chicken Coop.   It cleaned up well, thanks to volunteers.

Oct 2011.   A strong wind blew one of the doors off the Chicken Coop.  Another thing to fix....

August 28, 2012.   The plan is the fix up the coop, not to rebuild it to modern specs.

August 28, 2012.   The window frames need to be repaired or replaced.

August 28, 2012.   Tree roots at the back corner back pushed the wall up and out of kilter.

August 28, 2012.   Also, the bottoms of the siding are rotted.

Sept 15, 2012.   The corner has to be pulled together and lined up.

Sep 15, 2012.   The doors were removed for rebuilding.

Sep 15, 2012.   The top plate has sagged through the years.

Oct 28, 2012.   The structure is now solid, so the windows and doors can be fitted back into place.

Nov 17, 2012.   Now the sliding windows are put in place.

Nov 17, 2012.   The door frames were strenghened and the repaired doors are back in place.

Nov 17, 2012.   Now that the building is solid and (mostly) square, final adjustments on made on the siding.

Nov 17, 2012.   Good siding was found to replace the pieces that were unusable.
